Jacksonville, FL - On Wednesday, June 20, The Fashion Group International of North Florida hosted a cocktail reception in an authentic Italian Tuscan villa in the heart of the historic Jacksonville neighborhood, San Marco. Still in its completion phase of construction, the custom home was designed and built by Enclave Design|Build's President and Fashion Group member, Jozette Campbell. Doris Mellion, also an FGI member, joined Campbell in welcoming members and guests who sipped champagne and got a first glimpse of the residence. The project is significant for Mellion as the San Marco property has been in her family for generations.

Typical of classic Tuscan architecture, the single family home features Cyprus hand hewn beams and rafter tails, authentic stucco facade, functional wood shutters, stone and wood floors, plaster walls, and loggia connecting the main house with a 600 sq. ft. guesthouse. Living and dining spaces open onto a covered rear porch leading onto a charming courtyard with fountain. Total under roof square footage is 5698. "I wanted to create a spacious private enclave with pure authentic finishes and in keeping with the Mediterranean heritage of this special neighborhood," says Campbell. It truly is urban living at its best, yet luxurious and informal. It handled the flow of the large Fashion Group gathering with ease.
